Most of our vines are located directly around the estate. A public footpath runs through them, which we have named "Zeit in Waldgries" (Time in Waldgries). It starts right next to the winery. Christian Plattner and a talented artist friend designed it, and you might even come across him as he tends to his vines.

The wine trail is the ideal way to explore our vineyards independently before or after a tasting.

The wine path is always open!
It meanders through the vineyards, passing by rosemary bushes, fig and olive trees, oleanders, roses, and cypresses. Custom-designed artworks by Filip Moroder Doss embellish the trail, while information boards provide answers to your wine-related questions.
From the observation platform, you'll enjoy a fantastic view of Ansitz Waldgries, the vineyards, and the city of Bolzano. Afterward, you'll be warmly welcomed into our wine shop, where you can taste the wines made from the very vines you just walked
